MEET THE FOUNDER
My name is MfonAbasi Iniobong Udoh
I am an educator, cultural researcher, and the founder of Ibibio Language School. My work focuses on the preservation, study, and teaching of the Ibibio language, particularly for learners who have lost access to their linguistic roots due to migration, urbanization, or generational gaps.
Over the years, I’ve developed structured curricula, digital learning tools, and teaching methods that make Ibibio approachable and academically grounded. I founded Ibibio Language School to address the urgent need for indigenous language retention and to support families, schools, and communities in reconnecting with their linguistic identity.
My passion lies in ensuring that the Ibibio language remains vibrant, relevant, and accessible—both for today’s learners and for generations to come.
